Dr. Ajay is working in the area of oncology and tumor immunology especially with respect to the designing of novel cancer therapeutics by targeting tumor-specific unique aspects of tumor metabolism and tumor growth regulating components of tumor microenvironment including cognate and non-cognate cellular and molecular interactions.
The research work done by by our team has been published in in peer-reviewed journals of international repute such as Apoptosis, Chemico-biological Interactions, Environmental Toxicology etc.

Project Research Scientist
Dr. Sunita Prajapati

Dr. Kumari Sunita Prajapati completed her B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry from Magadh University, Bodhgaya. She then obtained her MSc. in Biotechnology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She also did her industrial training (BCIL-BITP) from Bhat Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. She pursued her Ph.D. from Central University of Punjab. She is currently working as ICMR Project Research Scientist- I in TBT lab, BHU.

Sunita got best academic research award during her Ph.D. She is very fond of cooking tasty foods and watching Korean movies. She has a great believe in God.

Abhishek Kumar

Abhishek completed his Bachelors in Science from Banaras Hindu University with Zoology as his Honors subject. He continued his masters from BHU itself and obtained MSc. in Zoology. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD from TBT Lab, BHU.
Abhishek is a very cheerful and stress-free person who believes in enjoying every bit of his life. Also, he is very fond of music and plays guitar exceptionally well. Abhishek lightens the lab by his musical abilities and makes us all enjoy the lab environment.

Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh completed his Bachelors in Science from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Ayodhya. He then obtained MSc. in Zoology from University of Allahabad. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD from TBT Lab, Department of Zoology, BHU.
Mukesh is very fond of playing outdoor games including cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc. He is an excellent cook with an experience of over 7 years of cooking. In his leisure time, he loves taking nap and listening songs.

Siddharth Rai
Siddharth obtained his B.Sc.(Hons) Zoology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). He then pursued Masters in Biochemistry from Department of Biochemistry, BHU. He is currently working in TBT Lab as a Ph.D. student.
Siddharth loves culminating himself tech savvy news and learning new skills. He is also the founder of VIDWAAN.forever (WebsiteLink), which is a science website designed specifically for students who love learning about the lesser known scientific phenomenon and topics. The website hosts more than 100 articles on science and related niches.​

Kriti Gupta

Kriti obtained her B.Sc (Hons.) Biochemistry from Delhi University. She then completed her masters in Biochemistry from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda. She is currently working as a project JRF in the TBT lab.

Kriti discovered baking as her hobby during lockdown. She likes to bake different types of cakes, muffins and donuts. She also loves watching movies, specifically of the genre murder mystery on different OTT platforms during her free time.

Sandeep Patel
Lab attendent

Sandeep is the backbone of TBT lab. He is hard working, sincere and faithful in nature. His responsibilities broadly include maintaining the animal house, attending mice models and keeping the labs clean. The TBT lab is thankful to Sandeep for all his efforts.
